Privacy Policy
Effective August 19, 2026
5/3/1: Strength Tracker is published by Chris Ball. This policy covers the iPhone and Apple Watch apps.
What we collect
Nothing. We operate no servers and receive no data from you. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no way for us to see your training.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting services, and no third-party software development kits of any kind. It makes no network requests of its own.
Where your data lives
Three flows exist, all of them between you and Apple.
- iCloud. Your training data is stored on your device and synced through your own private iCloud database, so it appears on your other devices. We cannot read it. Apple's privacy policy governs it.
- HealthKit. With your permission, the app writes completed workouts and active energy to Apple Health, and reads your body weight. You grant and revoke this in Settings, and the data never leaves your device by way of this app.
- StoreKit. If you buy the one-time Pro unlock, Apple processes the purchase. We receive no payment details — only whether the purchase exists.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete. Deleting the app and removing its data from iCloud removes everything. Health data is managed in the Health app.
